PLC programmer (willing to travel)

We are looking for a PLC programmer to join our team in the Automation area, Software and Service department.

What you will do

• develop automation software for industrial plants at our offices;
• configure and test the devices connected to the PLC: inverters, sensors, actuators, HMIs, motion controllers;
• carry out functional tests in-house and on site;
• handle the commissioning of plants in Italy and, above all, abroad;
• make software changes and updates to existing plants;
• write the technical documentation for projects.

What we are looking for

• eagerness to learn and to challenge yourself;
• experience in automation with PLCs and HMIs;
• willingness to travel in Italy and abroad (around 130 days a year);
• basic knowledge of English;
• technical diploma or degree in electrical, electronic or automation engineering;
• category B driving licence.

Desirable

• knowledge of Siemens PLCs and HMIs (TIA Portal, WinCC);
• electrical skills;
• knowledge of industrial networks (Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus);
• experience with rolling mills or process plants and with drives.

Electrical CAD designer / draughtsperson (EPLAN)

We are looking for an electrical CAD designer to join our engineering department.

What you will do

Mainly:

• analyse customer specifications and interpret the project technical documentation;
• draw power and industrial automation wiring diagrams.

In addition:

• mechanical layout of switchboards;
• preparation of project documentation;
• bills of materials for ordering;
• support to the production department in assembling and testing the products;
• dealing with customers and suppliers.

What we are looking for

• eagerness to learn and to challenge yourself;
• at least minimal previous experience in CAD drawing or industrial wiring;
• basic knowledge of electrical engineering;
• ability to read and interpret a wiring diagram.

Desirable

• knowledge of electrical design software, in particular EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel;
• skills in designing automation, machine safety, inverter and PLC circuits;
• familiarity with the main manufacturers of electrical equipment;
• basic knowledge of CEI, IEC and UL standards.

Switchboard wirer

We are looking for a switchboard wirer to join our team in the Production department.

What you will do

• read and interpret wiring diagrams;
• pick materials from the warehouse;
• assemble components on mounting plates, switchboards and enclosures;
• wire power and industrial automation switchboards;
• carry out modifications after testing;
• take care of finishing and preparation for shipment;
• if you wish, you can also take on short trips in Italy and Europe (supervision, small installations, modifications on site and on the machine): not an obligation, but an extra opportunity.
