Predictive maintenance of drives
In mixing rooms, Banbury mixers work in cycles of a few minutes, with torque peaks at every batch: for the converters that drive them this is the heaviest duty, because the IGBT power modules heat up and cool down continuously and wear out. This is where we start with predictive maintenance: our system reads the converter data in read-only mode, estimates the drive stress and the IGBT thermal cycles, explains which factors are causing it and gives a warning before a failure stops the mixer.

Supervision and OEE of mixing rooms
Our Level 2 platform follows Banbury-type internal mixers cycle by cycle:
- 3D supervisor with the cycle phase in real time, recipe steps, setpoints and measured values;
- data for every batch: cycle time, discharge temperature, current, energy;
- OEE by mixer and by shift, stops by category;
- mixer comparison: scorecard, trends and Pareto of stops;
- the same for extruders, calenders, open mills and the other rubber and plastics machines.
